The Student Advisory Committee (SAC) is established by the pastor, in accordance with Archdiocesan policy and the spirit of Canon Law, to assist the pastor and principal in the educational mission of the parish school.
The SAC shall use discernment and consensus in assisting and advising the pastor and principal.
In the Archdiocese of Detroit, all counsels are advisory in nature.
The areas in which the SAC may advise are: A. Planning B. Policy development and formation for the operation of the school C. Financing (including budgeting and policies for financial management) D. Marketing, Development, Public Relations E. Assisting with the sections of the principal F. Evaluations of the SAC Goals
