Mr. Sean Calvin brought the monstrance from the church to our classroom and explained how it is used. Each student made their own monstrance.
In science we are learning about plants. We did an experiment to show how water travels up the stem of a flower.

Ms. Jaime Bilk, daughter of Ms. Bilk, is a dental hygienist, who visited our class today and talked about dental health.

Mrs. Dennae Petrlich, Director of Faith Formation, visited our class for a retreat. She talked about receiving the Eucharist and students tasted the unconsecrated bread. Then they designed their First Communion plate. (Plates will come later.)
