| Our computer lab boasts 21 brand new IBM
workstations running Windows XP Pro connected to a new Windows 2003 server.
Students use Microsoft 2007 Office tools. We have high speed cable Internet access and a digital projection unit allowing us the mobility to
bring technology based lessons into the wired classroom. Students use webcams,
digital cameras, scanners, and video cameras.
Students in Grades K-8 receive lessons and are assigned projects focused on keyboarding,
word-processing, multimedia, using spreadsheets, Internet safety and searching skills, accessing, evaluating and organizing data and, creating electronic presentations.
We\explore digital storytelling, photo and video editing.
The teachers and Technology Coordinator work as a team to integrate technology into lessons when it would
support and enhance the students' learning. |
