PASTA FOR PENNIES: We will be collecting money between March 1-March 12 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. This is a loose change collection, and the class with the highest total wins a pasta lunch!
BOOK COLLECTION: We will be holding a Used Book Sale in the School Library on March 25th. Be sure to bring in used children's books for the sale. you child will have the opportunity to buy other student's used books for only 50¢. All proceeds will be donated to the children's literacy charity Books for Africa!
LENTEN COLLECTION: Beginning February 26th, our students will be collecting items for our Lenten Outreach in support of St. Aloysius in Detroit. Students will bring items to our school Mass each Friday. Please download and print our collection schedule.
JUMP ROPE FOR HEART: On February 16th our students participated in the American Heart Association Jump Rope for Heart. We raised over $6,000 for this worthy cause!.
CHRISTMAS OUTREACH: Our school children participated in the Marine's Toys for Tots Foundation Drive this holiday season.
THANKSGIVING OUTREACH: Students each donated a $1 offering for a Thanksgiving Outreach collection during our school Mass. Donations were used to help feed a needy family for the Thanksgiving holiday.
RECYCLE: Let's all join in to help make the new St. Joseph Parish Recycling Program a success! This is currently the only recycling program in Trenton. Drop off your recyclable paper any time in the green and yellow "Paper Retriever" bin located in the Parish Center Parking Lot.

Accepted items are magazines, shopping catalogs, newspapers, office and school papers, and mail. Please do not include plastic, glass, metal, trash, or cardboard.

Thanks to the parish, this is a great way to make a difference in our community!

Don't forget that we also recycle used ink cartridges at the school. A collection box is located outside the School Office.
