Keep Them Safe Online!
I Keep Safe! I Keep Away! I Keep Telling!

On Monday, March 5th, a representative from the Michigan Attorney General's Office visited our school to give an Internet Safety Presentation to all students. Your child was given an online safety contract to share with their parent. For the safety message to be effective, it is important that parents ask their child to share what was presented. Older students may not be as forthcoming in sharing the information without prompting.

Please sit down with your child and discuss the topics of the Internet Safety Contract. Be sure to keep that dialogue open!

The K-2 Online Safety Contract and the 3-8 Grade Online Safety Contract can be downloaded, should you need a copy.

Let's help keep them make smart choices.

What should you know about Elementary Age Safety?

What should you know about Middle School Age Safety?

What should you know about Cell Phone usage?

What should you know about Internet Safety to help your child stay safe? Did you know that according to a recent i-Safe America survey, 92% of parents feel they have established Internet rules for their child. Only 35% of children agree. 90% of parents feel they have a good idea of what their child is doing on the Internet, but 34% of children responded that they don't tell their parents about places they visit. Many parents don't know what to ask.
