Why Learn Spanish?

As the  Hispanic population in the United States continues to grow, the need to learn Spanish is becoming more relevant and important. In fact, by 2010, the U.S. Latino population is estimated to reach 42 million. The Hispanic population has already become the largest minority group in the U.S. and continues to be the fastest growing. Learning Spanish now will give your child the advantage to move ahead in business, education, healthcare or to communicate effectively with his or her own neighbors.

St. Joseph School students meet weekly for Spanish lessons with Señorita Zapata.
