Congratulations to Grade 5, the class with the highest donation total for the Pasta for Pennies collection! Grade 5 collected $259.26! Together, as a school, we collected $1,168.17 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Way to go, Cardinals!

March is Reading Month! We will be holding a Used Book Sale in the School Library on March 25th. Be sure to bring in used children's books for the sale. Your child will have the opportunity to buy other student's used books for only 50¢. All proceeds will be donated to the children's literacy charity Books for Africa!

The Michigan Department of Community Health is advising people to be aware of fraudulent emails referencing a CDC-sponsored State Vaccination Program for the H1N1 virus. The message requests that users create a personal H1N1 "Vaccination Profile" on the cdc.gov website.

The CDC has not implemented a state vaccination program. Clicking on the link in any of these fraudulent emails may jeopardize your computer security. For more information, visit http://www.cdc.gov/hoaxes_rumors.html.


In order to assist our junior high students in understanding math concepts, St. Joseph School purchased an online subscription to HotMath.com. Students have access to HotMath from both home and school Learn more!

A form must be completed and submitted to the School Office prior to any medication being given to a student. A Print Forms button has been added to the school website home page. From here, you can print either the weekly Hot Lunch Form or the Dispense Medication Release Form.

For the safety of our students, it is imperative that we follow the school's drop-off policy. Please review and adhere to these procedures.
