Welcome to 8th Grade!
Hello, my name is Colleen Crotty. I currently teach 8th grade, and 6th-8th grade Math. I have been teaching since 2001, and have been at St. Joe’s since 2007; I have spent my entire teaching career in Catholic education. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2000 with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Language Arts. In 2007, I received my Master’s Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University.
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Evan, since 2009 and we have a little dog at home, Buddy. I am the proud aunt of 4 nephews and 1 niece, and the Godmother of 3 awesome and talented kids. When I’m not at school, I love reading, spending time with family and friends, and keeping up with my favorite television shows.
St. Joseph Parish School is dedicated to Faith, Academics, Service, and Catholic Traditions. (We are F.A.S.T.)
8th graders participated in a mock trial, assuming many of the roles that you would see in a courtroom.
8th graders made rice turkeys with their partners.
